The original Givenchy dress was famous for two details — a loose waist that instantly shaped the body once the belt was tied, and a flowing hem that moved like silk in the wind.

Designer Vivi wanted to keep this iconic silhouette while making it more practical for daily and office wear. She refined the pattern, adjusting the waist to a more tailored fit and replacing the loose chiffon hem with a structured fabric overlay. The result preserves the graceful movement of the original, yet feels more flattering and wearable for contemporary women.

Though rooted in Hepburn’s cinematic elegance, this version represents a new interpretation — designed, patented, and protected, blending classic beauty with thoughtful modern improvement.
